We are looking for: Senior Java Developer
Awareson is IT Recruitment Consultancy specializing in delivery of IT Specialists on contract and permanent basis to Customers across Europe.
General info:
- Location: remote
- Duration: 9+ months (possible extention)
- Rate: 160-170 PLN/h
Skills required:
- 7+ years of commercial Java backend development experience
- Expert-level knowledge of Spring Framework and Hibernate (ORM)
- Hands-on experience with JOOQ for type-safe SQL
- Solid understanding of relational databases — PostgreSQL in particular
- Experience with message brokers, specifically RabbitMQ
- Proficiency in writing and maintaining unit and integration tests with JUnit
- Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Commitment to Clean Code principles and best development practices
- Proven ability to work with legacy systems — refactoring and stabilising existing code
Responsibility:
- Analyse, design, and implement new features within the financial software domain
- Refactor existing code to improve quality, readability, and long-term maintainability
- Identify and resolve bugs — including those in legacy modules
- Collaborate closely with the Team on technical decisions and code reviews
- Apply Clean Code principles consistently across the codebase
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (Jenkins, GCP)
