We are looking for: Senior Data Engineer

General info:

Location: Warsaw, Poland (hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
Duration: long-term cooperation until May 2027
Salary: up to 190 PLN/h
Start: ASAP

Skills required:

7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (advanced level required)
Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure SQL DWH
Strong knowledge of T-SQL, including complex transformations and performance tuning
Solid experience with ETL / ELT pipelines and cloud-based data warehousing
Deep understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology) and medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments
Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
Experience with orchestration and monitoring of data pipelines
Strong communication skills in English and experience working with business stakeholders
Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
Nice to have: experience with AWS migration projects and Dataiku

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain cloud-based data warehouse solutions in Azure
Build and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines
Develop high-quality T-SQL transformations and optimize performance
Cooperate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owner, and developers
Ensure data security, stability, scalability, and performance
Support orchestration, monitoring, and CI/CD processes for data platforms
Collaborate with Power BI developers supporting the reporting layer
Participate in future migration initiatives from Azure to AWS
Work in an Agile environment focused on continuous improvement
