We are looking for: Senior Data Engineer
General info:
- Location: Warsaw, Poland (hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week)
- Duration: long-term cooperation until May 2027
- Salary: up to 190 PLN/h
- Start: ASAP
Skills required:
- 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer / Data Platform Engineer
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (advanced level required)
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics / Azure SQL DWH
- Strong knowledge of T-SQL, including complex transformations and performance tuning
- Solid experience with ETL / ELT pipelines and cloud-based data warehousing
- Deep understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology) and medallion architecture (Bronze/Silver/Gold)
- Experience working in Microsoft Azure environments
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions)
- Experience with orchestration and monitoring of data pipelines
- Strong communication skills in English and experience working with business stakeholders
- Experience working in enterprise-scale environments
- Nice to have: experience with AWS migration projects and Dataiku
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain cloud-based data warehouse solutions in Azure
- Build and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT data pipelines
- Develop high-quality T-SQL transformations and optimize performance
- Cooperate closely with business stakeholders, Product Owner, and developers
- Ensure data security, stability, scalability, and performance
- Support orchestration, monitoring, and CI/CD processes for data platforms
- Collaborate with Power BI developers supporting the reporting layer
- Participate in future migration initiatives from Azure to AWS
- Work in an Agile environment focused on continuous improvement
