We are looking for: Senior Backend Developer (Java)
General info:
- Location: fully remote
- Duration: long-term contract
- Salary: 160-180 PLN/h
Skills required:
- At least 6+ years of experience with Java.
- Databases and data access: strong familiarity with PostgreSQL, JDBC, JPA (Hibernate), jOOQ, and Liquibase for database versioning.
- Dev tools and observability: practical experience using Maven for build automation, Kafka for messaging, and monitoring solutions like Dynatrace, ELK Stack, and Grafana.
- Security and identity: working knowledge of Keycloak or similar identity and access management tools.
- Architecture: proven experience in designing and building microservices-based, asynchronous, and distributed systems using hexagonal architecture and Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.
- Development methodologies: familiarity with Agile practices, Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), object-oriented design, and continuous refactoring for code quality.
Responsibility:
- Designing and implementing scalable, maintainable backend services using Java and Spring.
- Writing clean, readable, and well-tested code in line with Clean Architecture and DDD.
- Taking ownership of solutions from concept to deployment.
- Collaborating in an Agile team, contributing to planning, estimations, and retrospectives.
